S1 Pro and saturation (loud signal)

Hello,

I have seen that the led light of the speaker turns red when the signal is too loud. Will it damage the speaker if someone uses it at too loud a volume for a long time ?

Is it better to use the speaker at a low volume with high volume on the computer or to lower the volume on the computer and raise it on the speaker ?

Thank you

No, you won't damage the S1 Pro. But if the LED is solid red, the sound will be distorted - and unpleasant.

Generally, you want strong signal at the source (e.g., the computer - at 80%  - if you hear distortion turn it down). Then you adjust the S1 Pro so you see solid green with occasional flickers of red on the LEDs.  Once you have that set up, you can manage the volume on the computer.

Thank you

Does that help?
