It would be great to control the EQ and volume for channels through bluetooth from my phone via a Bose android/apple app. A feature like that sets it miles apart compared to using one of my QSC K8's which most people look at within the same competitive price range. The application which I'm seeking to use my S1 for is small to medium size venues where I don't want to take out my mixer and other things then plug and play in seconds. That's exactly where a unit like this will shine if you can pull off something functional for people to control things remotely and being extremely portable.
Yes, a little three channel or graphic eq as well as master volume in the Bose connect app would be really great.
While normally I find the S1 Auto EQ feature to be acceptable for my gig situations, there are times I wish I could turn it off and be able to configure my unit at whatever angle I wish without affecting my EQ settings. Is there any chance that Bose could include a means to turn on/off the Auto EQ in the Bose Connect or a separate S1 Pro App? Thanks!
I see the Forum Administrator moved your post here. That's good as it means it will be seen by the right people.

Please see this article about the S1 Pro Auto EQ to understand what Auto EQ is doing, and why.
I was thinking in addition to the new stereo mode, it would be great to link multiple (more than two) S1 Pros wirelessly for a true party mode, where all speakers are fed wirelessly by the same single feed. Imagine being able to spread around (within reason/range) multiple S1 Pros running on battery and be able to create a portable distributed audio system. In this mode, each speaker could probably produce mono instead of stereo, but would be great to have the option to set it to stereo and be able to choose which speaker plays left vs right.
Input delay control in milliseconds would be great. That way, I can use the S1 Pro as delay speakers, say halfway through the audience without needing a separate delay processor.
2. A battery powered tone match mixer. To connect some more inputs without needing to have power or change the s1’s simplicity on its own. Let it have Bluetooth too so you can play audio to 2 speakers in stereo (not possible with the link cable.
3. Maybe a little far fetched but I would love a s1 sub. I’m ok with it being a little larger but would love it being battery powered.
4. Combine 2 and 3 and make a dedicated s1 sub out on the mixer with a preset for the set.

I know you can stereo pair via the app but that doesn’t work on devices without an app. And the left right is not clear to me so I always have to play a test track to know witch one is left en right
I think two- three position attenuation switches on channel one and two should be added. One position for line level sources, one position for "standard mics" that would boost the input signal for a mic with output similar to a sm58/57 and one position for "hot" mics with output similar to Beta 58a.
Several folks have started using the Behringer 1200D subwoofer with the S1 to bolster its lower end. It got me to thinking that it would be nice for Bose to develop a similar type of optional subwoofer for the S1, but perhaps base (no pun intended) it on a B1 or 2.
Further, it would be nice to have this new B1/2 interchangeable with a L1 as many of us use both depending on the venue size.
I expect one of the challenges would be how to make this new subwoofer work off battery power to compliment that wonderful feature in the S1. Also, another challenge to keep its weight down.
Have channel 3 operate optimally from a 70% setting on source devices and smooth out the incremental knob volume fadeouts and abrupt stoppage to normal traditional fading.

I own a L1 Model 2 and a S1 pro, the S1 pro is almost perfect,if it was slightly bigger so i could cover say 60 people with the use of two units and with better pre-amps i would gladly pay more, for me that would be perfect.
I love the S1 but i would like it to be a little bigger in size and capacity ,also better pre-amps for me that would be perfect and would gladly pay more.
