Soundbar 500/700 - Firmware Update: 4.0.9

Beginning June 4th, 2019, an update is being released to fix the right channel audio quality issue some have experienced with the Soundbar 500 or Soundbar 700. The update will occur automatically. To receive the update, leave your soundbar connected to the network and idle between hours 2:00 AM – 5:00 AM local time. It may take 24-48 hours to receive the update.

 

The new firmware version is 4.0.9.

 

Here’s how to check your version of firmware:

  1. Open the Bose Music App
  2. Tap “My Bose” in the upper left
  3. Select your speaker
  4. Tap Soundbar in lower right
  5. Go to: Settings -> Technical Info: FIRMWARE VERSION
