I have a soundtouch 10 and no issues until today. However now the speaker will not connect to my phone via bluetooth, or to spotify via either my phone or laptop. This all used to work seamlessly. It still connects to Digital radio is the speaker is working in some capacity. I then tried to reconnect it to Wi-Fi ( it is connected as radio works but thought this could be a bit of a reset) but it says the phone can’t find the speaker on the network.
Any suggestions??
Thanks
Simon
Hi Simon,
Thanks for the post, and I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're having with your setup.
Let's try getting Bluetooth connected. Can you delete the Bose system from your phone's Bluetooth pairing list, then attempt to reconnect Bluetooth? You may have to put the SoundTouch 10 in pairing mode by holding down the Bluetooth button on the top of the system.
Let us know so we can get this resolved for you.

Hi there
Hello Simon,
Thanks for getting back to us. There was an eco-system update recently if some devices were updated but not all that could be causing this issue. Could you try updating the App through your App store, or even removing it and reinstalling it? If you have the SoundTouch App n the computer we would suggest removing it and using the mobile Apps for the time being. If this resolves the issue you can reinstall it without issue. Once you reinstall check for any software updates on the SoundTouch 10's as well.
In regards to the Bluetooth connection, did you remove the old pairing from the phone completely? Hopefully, this will get you back up and running, let us know how it works out.

Hi there
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but no change. If the speaker is switched off and I try to play through Spotify, the speaker won't turn on. But if I go to Tunein Radio, it wakes up instantly. If I then go back to Spotify, still nothing - TuneIn Radio keeps playing. On Spotify it seems to get stuck on a loading page.
The speaker will not connect to my phone's bluetooth anymore - when I put the spaker in pairing mode it appears instantly on my phone's 'Avaliable devices' list, but says Unable to pair because of an incorrect PIN or passkey. However there has been no opportunity to put in a pin or passkey.
Let me know what to try next!
Thanks,
Simon
Hi Simon,
If you open the SoundTouch App are there software updates available for the speakers? Before reconnecting on Bluetooth did you clear the paired list of the SoundTouch 10 as well?

Hi Simon,
Did you delete the Soundtouch 10 in your phones known bluetooth device list?
As I don't know what kind of phone you have, on an Apple iPhone i can choose an option to "forget this device" and the pairing process starts completely from the beginning like with any other new device.

Hi
As mentioned I removed the device from my phone's bluetooth list and now I cannot connect to it anymore.
I deleted the list of paired devices within the speaker, but I'm still getting the same error message when trying to connect with my phone.
I have a HTC U11 .
Thanks,
Simon
Hi there
No updates - it says the speaker is up to date. And yes - cleared the list of paired devices but still unable to bluetooth connect.

Hi Simon,
Can you try doing the Bluetooth connection with a phone that is not using Android 8, such as an older Android or iOS? If that is working, here is a link some have found helpful for issues such as this. We hope this helps.
