I think the latest firmware update broke the clock function. On both my ST30's and 20's, occasionally the clock display goes away and turning it off and on with the app doesn't do anything. The only thing that seems to work to get the clock back is unplugging the speaker and plugging it back in - until the next time it vanishes, that is.
Hello All,
Thank you for posting. I'm sorry to hear you are both having issues with the clock on your SoundTouch systems and I would be happy to help with this.
, have we tried power cycling the speakers as suggested? We would just want to disconnect the power for 30 seconds before reconnecting.
It is unusual that this seems to come and go on your speakers. Have you noticed any kind of pattern to when the clock stops appearing? Does it happen to all of your speakers at the same time?
I look forward to hearing from you both.
Kind Regards,

Hi Keith - I have 4 ST20's and an ST30 - all series 3. Its happened on at least two of the former, and the latter, not all at the same time. If there is a pattern to when or why it happens, I haven't figured it out yet. But it did not happen for me until recently, not until after the latest firmware update I am fairly certain.
I note that I am not the only one. Here's another user that has reported this issue, and one more. And another.
Thanks for the suggestion and strangly it worked after unplugging it for more than 30 sec.
Everything is working fine Now
Thanks to both of you
I am not sure if anyone is attempting to take care of this but it is a nuisance having to disconnect and reconnect the power more often than I would like to do.
The application on the iPhone has the clock turned on but it does not turn the clock on.
Please help!
Thanks for reaching out to us .
Please be assured that we will do all we can to get this issue resolved. This has already been raised with our team but I'll be happy to add your experience to help see if we can get to the bottom of this.
Can you tell me how often you need to reset the speaker for the clock to display correctly?
Do you also have a SoundTouch 30?
Can you tell me where you are roughly located?
I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi Jessie. I live on the East Coast of the United States in the Eastern time zone. I have to do this probably twice a week.
Thanks much!
Joe
Sorry I forgot. It is a Soundtouch 30.
Thank you for sharing this information !
I will get this passed onto our development team to see if we can get this issue resolved. We do not have an estimated time frame for this.
Thanks again!
