SoundTouch 300 No sound, no lights

Hi there,

I had bought soundtouch 300 sound bar along with wireless sub woofer. Till date I have been enjoying the speaker's extremely well, until today when I came back home, and I see there are no lights in my sound bar. I reconnected my power cable,  no luck. I connected it to different power outlet, nothing worked.

I also tried to factory reset but none of the lights would show up. I am stuck in the middle of no where. Please help!!

I have high hopes from Bose that you will get me out of my depression of my dead sound bar. PLEASE HELP!!

Thanks

Samant

Hi Samant,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

I'm very sorry to hear you are having issues with your SoundTouch 300 soundbar.

With regards to troubleshooting, if you have a similar power cable available, please try this as it may be an issue with the cable itself.

If the issue still persists, please reach out to support in your country.

Kind regards,

Thank you so much. I had tried all the solutions but no luck. Finally had to ship my sound bar for a repair. Now waiting for it come back safely with all its sound. Fingers crossed.

Hi Guys,

I am having the exact same issue as stated above. Got up this morning and my Bose Soundtouch 300 soundbar is not working.

No lights, changed power supply, plugged both power supplies into the wall, tried to update via the app, tried remote control manual update, bur no lights or response.

Can you please advise on what I need to do.

Thanks,

Darren

Hello DarConlon,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Bose Community!

I am so sorry you are having this issue. As you have tried all troubleshooting steps, the best option here would be to reach out to your local customer support center and explore the service options for your soundbar. You can do this by clicking this link here, selecting your region, scrolling to the bottom of the page, and selecting contact us.

If you are in the US or UK you can also reach out via Facebook or Twitter and one of our team can help you there.

I am truly sorry that we cannot help more.

Kind Regards,

Vicky W

Hi Vicky,

Thanks for coming back to me.

I have went through the link you provided below, and messaged the customer services team via WhatsApp at 2.04pm but never got a reposnse. On the Irish website it highlights that it is open from 9am to 5pm on a Saturday.

Is there an email address for Republic of Ireland customers to contact? I'm looking for a quick resolution to the issue.

Thanks in advance,
Darren

Maybe this helps

This has happened to me too. Everything recognizes it but no power, no lights and no sound. This should be a product recall issue. Oh yeah, no response from their WhatsApp chat. What do I do?

Jim

Hello,

Today suddenly my soundtouch isn't getting switched on.

I have checked the power switch/ socket - no problem there. and I have tried the other suggestions given on this forum (like pressing certain buttons on the remote), but it still doesn't switch on.

What can I do?
