Dear Moderator,
can you provide more info on the Simple Sync Feature? The added value is not clear to me. Can we use ST and Home product in a blended setup and stream radio (ST icon), bluetooth, Aux, Spotify connect?
Thx for you clarification

Hello
Ever since the firmware update 26.0.1 my SoundTouch 20 II speaker's bluetooth connection doesn't work.
It's impossible to switch from TuneIn or Amazon Music to bluetooth using the Android app or the speaker menu. The bluetooth symbol appears on the speaker display alongside the currently used service (TuneIn for example).
I also can't connect to paired devices using the app settings.
Any help would be appreciated.
cheers
PS: I wanted to register my speaker and the system seems to be having trouble recognizing the number.
Please can you kindly elaborate more?
I have 7 soundtouch spearkers. Are you telling us that if I start to buy bose smart speakers, I will be able to use evertyhing?
For example, from spotify app? Bose Music app (that I do not use because I dont have smart speaker) will be able to see soundtouch speakers?
The feature that I most use is the "GROUP" one. How that would work?
Thanks
More info on SimpleSync would be appreciated. How does it work? How do you use it? I didn't see anything in the Bose Music app.
I found more info here - https://www.bose.com/en_us/support/articles/HC1245/productCodes/bose_soundbar_700/article.html
I had the same problem.
I own a Homespeaker 500 and a Lifestyle 650
So to connect, on the HomeSpeaker 500 and Lifestyle 650 activate Bluetooth ( Source)
In the Symple Sync Menu (HomeSpeaker) pop up the LF650

FYI: Even so the Wave SoundTouch Series III system is not listed above, I found it also got updated.
Thank you for sharing this, . This is really great news for all of us who own SoundTouch systems. A step into the right direction, to get more alignment between SmartHome and SoundTouch products.
As a feature request that goes even further, would it be possible to integrate synchronized streaming between SmartHome and SoundTouch products even further? With SimpleSync, I need to go to the SoundTouch App, switch to Bluetooth input and then go to the SmartHome app, chose my speaker and select the SoundTouch speaker to sync the music to. I envision a world in which I could directly go to the SmartHome App and it would display my SoundTouch speakers when I'm creating a multiroom group. This would allow me not only to use only one app when I want to listen to music in multiple areas, it would also allow me to stream to all of my SoundTouch devices and not only pair exactly one SmartHome speaker with exactly one SoundTouch device.
I wouldn't expect that I'm able to use the SmartHome app to control my SoundTouch speakers though - just being able to create real multiroom groups in one app would be amazing.
Is this something your development team could envision working on? I hope on a technical level this wouldn't be too difficult - the newer SmartHome devices would just need to use the SoundTouch streaming protocol to stream their audio over network to the SoundTouch devices.
Since it is doing through Bluetooth, does the speaker needs to be close to the smart speaker?
Otherwise, bluetooth connection will not work correct?
If YES, this will not work for me... I have speakers connected on ethernet or wifi that are very away from themselves... 😞
Can u confirm?
