I have a SoundTouch Wireless Adapter which I have lugged into my rather old SoundLink system. It works fine, but the sound only comes out through the right hand speakers. Is this a fault with the Soundlink or is there an adjustment I need to make to the Wireless Adapter to get stereo sound?

Is it just when you use the wireless adapter that you get mono sound or have you noticed it since connecting the adapter? I would recommend ensuring that your speakers are connected firmly to ensure you are getting stereo sound.

Thanks for your offer to help. My system is a Lifestyle 48 Series IV - getting quite old now but still gives excellent service. I've just solved the problem - after a deal of trouble-shooting, I nailed the problem to a defective cable linking the SoundTouch Wireless Link to the Media Centre. I changed the cable for a new one and all is good!
