Spotify Playlist (the ones generated by Spotify) as ST 10 preset not working

Hello 

 

I switched to a Spotify premium account just to store the offered Genre & mood playlists to a Soundtouch 10 prest button. 

I follow the instructions : play playlist , switch to soundtouch app, tap the desired preset button  but I receive all the time the message "sorry , you cant set this as a preset " .. any help please  ???  I am desperate .. as this was my main reason to switch to premium 😞 

 

Another not working bose function #still waiting for airplay 2 and Alexa ...

Thanks for the post.  

 

I just tested this.  In the SoundTouch App on the Spotify source, I selected "Mood" under "Genres & Moods", then selected "Your Favorite Coffeehouse."  Once I started playing the first track, I selected the preset icon in the top right corner of the SoundTouch App, held down on a preset, and it set the playlist as a preset without issue.  If you follow these steps, are you able to set it as a preset?

did exactly as you described even with the same favorite coffeehouse playlist .. get again the message" sorry you cant set that as a present" when I pushed the preset button in the soundtouch app. Could attach an iphone screenshot but did not find an attach file function here 😞 

 

 

 

Any better idea ?

Hi Bjoern,

 

I've just tested to preset different type of Spotify Premium playlist to my presets.

I have Spotify family and three accounts setup in the Bose app, there is no problem to assign a Spotify playlist to any of the presets within the Bose app or use the Spotify app and choose for example one of the daily mix lists and go back into the Bose app and asign that one to a preset.

 

I tried the adding on my Notebook as well as on my iPad, both no problem.

 

Have you tried to delete the Spotify account in the Bose app and add it again?
