I updated last night using the latest updater and also grabbed the Takamine presets…and there’s the problem.
All channels show only:
Takamine Guitars
Taylor Guitars
Audix Mics.
I have tried powering down the base and the T1 and I tried another update but I get nothing but these three.
I have also tried loading factory settings…nothing.
If I go to “scenes” and leave it on any scene, after 30 seconds or so it jumps to ‘user scene 02’.
I updated with my stage laptop and connected via USB the same setup I use on stage. The only thing different is I don’t have the speakers set up, I just needed power to run the T1 for the updates.
How can I remove the Takamine presets?, there are none that apply to any of my Taks.
Thanks,
Leo
Problem solved!
I reloaded the factory T1 presets in the same place where the Takamine presets where…
yeaah…'course I would still like to have the Tak. presets but I’ll try another night…everything is where it should be right now.
Leo
Hi Leo,
I’m glad you got things resolved and thanks for sharing the solution.
Are your Scenes okay too?
Leo - very happy to hear you solved the problem.

I don’t think Leo has solved the problem as to how he can get the Takamine presets without obliterating everything else…he still wants the Taks
I remember seeing this problem in distant previous posts and that’s why I haven’t downloaded the Taks myself…being I’m a member of the CRS club, the solution eludes me…
Leo and JD1,
There are 3 ToneMatch banks on the T1. There is also a bank for the ‘Factory’ set of presets (the 100 or so standard ones).
It is possible to put a manufacturers ToneMatch bank into the ‘Factory’ bank - which is what Leo did, and then undid.
To get the Takamine presets onto the T1, put them in ToneMatch bank #3, which comes empty from the factory.
Does that clear things up?
Mike
Thanks guys, and I think the bottom line here is that the updater is not idiot proof. I should have paid closer attention to which category I chose to place the Takamine presets.
I’m also guilty of assuming the whole process was automatic and that the different downloads would assign themselves to the correct place.
Further, when I downloaded the factory presets to the “presets: Takamine” spot, the Takamine presets were lost and at the time I was just happy to have everything back and the other presets could wait until my nerves settled down…
All is well the T1 is unlocked and I’m happy again. Spring has sprung here in south Georgia (usa)and I just love my Bose sound outdoors!
later ya’ll… and thanks,
Leo
