T1 model 1-Suddenly, power but no sound

T1 model 1 Portable PA System

USA

Just purchased from friend who only used in his studio.  Has been working perfectly.

Was shipped to me.

Set up according to instructions.  Seemed to work great, then the top stick went out, then later the bottom stick stopped sound.

Power lights are on.

I disconnected everything, but back together...no good.

Looked at the fuse...It's a white fuse and you are unable to see in the glass, so don't know what that means. However, the power is on.

Was connecting to a mixer, but disconnected and tried a mic, a piano, and guitar but no sound.

What happened?

The system has never failed, only been on stage once. Was used in an indoor studio.

Hi frturner2!

Welcome to the Bose forum, I'm sorry to see you're having this problem with the T1.

Which connection are you using to output from the T1 (e.g. the digital ToneMatch output, or analogue 1/4" output)?

Have you tried to output from the T1 using different cables?

Do the input signal LEDs on the mixer still light up when the sound source is played?

I just rec'd a call from Bose Support.  First of all, my system is a L1-Model 1...not a T1...so sorry.  Anyway, I turned the system on.  He asked me what lights were showing. I told him the two lights for channel 1 & 2 were green. And the Power was an orange/red.

He immediately said the system has a problem and suggested to take to an electrical repair shop. He thought it might be a fuse inside the system.

Hey fturner2,

Thank you for this update. If the Powerstand is showing a red LED, repair is the best way to go.
