Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce"
Product is brand new... Yesterday, following instructions, I updated the firmware and product worked fine... i.e. T4s connected with L1 Pro 32 and ports functioned properly... Today after deconstructing the L1 and moving it to my garage for a jam, the T4s would not function... i.e. was receiving signal from guitar and mic but not transmitting to the L1!
Later in the day, I reinstalled the firmware, but no improvement; afterward tried a factory reset with no improvement. After the factory reset, I once again reinstalled the newest firmware... Still no dice... the T4s is receiving power from the L1, but Pref area indicates "no connection." This was a huge personal investment and I am beside myself...
What environment do you experience the issue in? (e.g. noisy office, quiet kitchen, etc.)
Home in Living Room and later in Garage
When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?
The T4s worked yesterday for the first time and fails to connect now...
Any troubleshooting steps you took
Yes including reinstallation of firmware, and a factory reset...
I can't get my T4S ToneMatch to work with my Mac running MacOS Big Sur version 11.2.2, and what's amazing, is how little support or details the BOSE site has on this subject. Nothing I download works, it's either "Developer unrecognized", "Developer hasn't updated" or "no app to open this download"
It's frustrating too
I agree that the instructions for uploading the latest firmware are not as clear as they could be... I suggest you download the updater file, then go into Finder, click on downloads and scroll down to find the file you just downloaded, then right click and hit the open command... if you are properly connected between the T4s and your computer, the updater will open and you can commence with updating your firmware... You will have to go back into your Finder and "fish out" the V1.14 file through the updater to complete the process...
I hope your T4s is then capable of communicating with the L1, which mine is not doing...
Mitch
Well... apparently there is no easy solution to the dilemma of failed communication between the T4s and the L1 Pro 32... a problem that could not be solved over the phone... it seems I took whatever action that could be taken to ameliorate the problem...
So, Bose is sending a replacement Li Pro 32 and a T4s... I will keep the original Sub 1 which is working just fine... Thank you Bose for sticking by your products...
