T8S, aux playback from Macbook

Hi - new user trying to figure things out. I've got a macbook connected to the Tonematch USB-B port, AUX 9/10 panned to hard left and right. Fire up some music on the mac and the Pref/Input shows no levels on inputs 9 and 10. Anyone have a suggestion?  Thanks!

PS - I'm updated to latest Bose firmware.

Does the MacBook show that you are connected to the Bose T4S in the audio settings?

Here are some notes about various ways to connect a computer to the T4S.

Great.

Please let us know if any of that is helpful.

Q: "Does the MacBook show that you are connected to the Bose T4S in the audio settings?"

A: Yes, the OSX system monitor shows "USB 2.0 Hub connected to T8S Tone Match"

Also, when I disconnect and reconnect USB to the ToneMatch, the Pref page shows "USB Disconnected", then "USB Connected".

I figured it out! You have to manually select the output device in OSX System Preferences (T8S vs Internal Speakers). Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.  - Charles

Ok, follow on question or confirmation:

I've just got one L1 connected to the ToneMatch. ToneMatch panned hard right and right main out connected to the L1 base. I've got the ToneMatch pan settings for Channel 9 set hard right and Channel 10 set hard left. Is that right?

The output sounds like I'm missing the left channel. Maybe both of the Channel Pans should be set hard right?

Yes, both channels should be panned hard right.
