T8s digital noise..squawk like sound

Good day...I am having trouble with an intermittent squawk like sound coming thru my t8s.Everything will run great for half a set...then the noise will start.SM 58beta vocal ch1

Have isolated all channels when noise occurs.Seems to only happen when all instruments are working.No sign of red or yellow on meter for any of the channels.

When noise occurs I have removed each channel 1 at a time..noise still happens.Does not happen sometimes for 3 or 4 songs then it starts again.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated..

I'm sorry you've got this strange squawking sound. You've done some great trouble shooting.

The only thing that comes to mind is to check your firmware.

and to do a factory reset



T4S/T8S Factory Reset



Note: You'll have to recreate your Scenes.





If that doesn't solve the problem, it's time to call Bose Support.

I had a similar problem last year. It was a high pitched digital sounding noise, only occurring when everyone was playing/singing at the same time. The best solution was to check the input levels and adjust the gains. We use playback through two channels (from an iPad). Adjusting the gain to max on the iPad and then to zero on each desk channel prevented this happening.
