It's been fine before, this is about the 4th gig with it...but tonight...Everything is muted...noise is coming from one of the outputs. Which is amazing if you think about it...I've seen posts on this...haven't see a fix....it's not the cord. Any thoughts?
Hi, Ray.
Welcome to the Bose Portable PA Community.

What are the outputs connected to?
If you are using two powered loudspeakers are the settings on both of them identical?
If the powered loudspeakers of Bose systems, please tell us what they are and the settings on them.

Thanks,

I have this same issue....except on both XLR outputs.
I sent a unit in to have the master volume nob repaired. This issue was NOT there when I sent it in as I tested all outputs to test the volume POT I was using it and just using the volume on my compacts so it defiantly was not an issue before - Now I am getting noise at -20db on the main XLR outs - with all volumes and channels tuned down to 0. - that is unusable.
I testing it with two different L1 compacts, an L1M2 1/4, and two Mackie mixers all have the noise from the T8S - but when I use the same devices and cords with my T4S no noise at all, also no noise on the 1/4 outputs of the T8S.
I sent it back to bose and they said they could not duplicate the issue - well they must be very good at audio. I got it back today and same thing - I read a noise floor of -20db....you can hear it loud and clear on any speaker.
Any suggestions? I can't afford to be without this mixer for another 3 months. I have gigs now....woopie.
(Yes, it was the POT and not the Post Master setting - and thanks to the community for all the suggestion, yes its practically new T8S, Yes I paid the $160, yes this is unacceptable service from bose)
