T8S Tonematch Mixer auto shutoff issue - Connect with L1

Recently I replaced my two T1 Tonematch with T8S Tonematch mixer connect with 2 L1's as (Left and right channel) ( L1 Model II's). Issue I am facing is....after playing music for about 1 to 2 min T8S Tonematch Mixer gets auto shutoff with loud static sound. To power on  T8S again again I have to power off& on L1. But issue of T8S auto shutoff happens every time......

 

Need help to understand what I should do?

--> this is issue with T8S Tonematch or there are some fix to this.

 

Power to T8S is coming from L1.

What devices were you using that were affected and what version are they on? 

No any device is used.  

1. Music input is from Laptop, and

2. Three  MIC

Hello Rsingh,

 

You cannot power the T8S from the L1 Model II via the ToneMatch cable.  You have to use the separate power supply, which was included with the T8S for this reason.

 

The L1 Model II was designed several years before the T8S, and was designed to supply sufficient power for the original T1.  Since the T8S is a larger mixer with more channels, it exceeded the Model II's power specs.  While it may seem to work for a while, the shutdowns you're experiencing are normal.  In fact, you're fortunate to have gotten two minutes of playing time.
