Tips using bose L1 model 2 system with Bose Soundbar 700

Hi, this is my first post.. We just bought a soundbar 700 and a L1 model 2 system for home use.  We are not in any professional business.  Just use it at home for karaoke with friends and family.  We've connected everything in and it just doesn't sound right.  I'm looking for any tips and recommendations on how to use this system and any settings we need to do..

What are you running through the PA?  Microphones, Karaoke, machine?  Is it too much treble, too much bass, noisy?  And are you going directly into the L1 or through a mixer?

we just have microphones hooked up to a T4s machine.  i'm still not familiar with all the settings in the T4s.

We use songs from youtube to sing karaoke or just listen to music in general.  The system we have now is L1 model 2 with a B2, and a T4s.  We also have a soundbar 700.
