I just bought the a new L1 Pro 16. I unpacked it, plugged my fiddle in to give it a test run and whenever I bow two strings at once the system has a crunchy sound. My fiddle is using a Kremona style pickup and an L.R. Baggs Venue D.I. Box. I tried various pre-sets but couldn’t find one that didn’t crunch at least somewhere when playing double stops. I’m not a sound professional so I don’t really know what to mess with to dial in the sound.

I've used some LR Baggs DI's into my L1 Compact and Pro8 with acoustic guitars. You could try adjusting the gain input on the Venue by lowering it a little. If you're using the 1/4 out to the L1 Pro16, then the master volume can be adjusted lower to see if that helps. If you're using the XLR DI out to the Pro16 then the master volume on the Venue will have no effect on the output volume. I would also turn off the ToneMatch presets on the input you are using on the Pro16.
