Tonematch set up for duo's

I have recently acquired a tonematch to go with my Compact.

A couple of questions:

1. i have two acoustics & two mics, what’s the appropriate channel input set-up on the T1 to accomodate a duo using this set up to perform as a duo?

2. The two acoustics I use are a Larrivee D-04 with an active Fishman Plus Piezo & a Larrivee D-05 with an L.R Baggs Active M1 A.

What are the best selction for the guitars?

Thanks.

Hi Bobby,

Just flying out the door.

T1®
Channel 1 vocal microphone
Channel 2 vocal microphone
Channel 3 guitar
Channel 4 guitar (note - you will have to run the input trim higher on this than on Channel 3, but that is okay and of no consequence).

Gain Staging a Microphone with the T1® (same principles apply for guitars too)

Please watch the short video below. It is for the Model I, but the principles are the same.

Unfortunately there is no video for doing this on the T1® but the ideas are equally applicable.

Use the same microphone technique Steve describes in the video.

The colors on the T1® are a little different because the T1® trim uses 3 colors. You want to have a good solid green signal with occasional flickers of yellow.

If you are seeing flickers of red, turn down the trim.

For more detailed notes see: T1® Gain Staging.

Presets - for the guitars - Please see: what I do with my Larrivee and Morgan guitars

Does that help?

Thanks for taking the time, I’m going to take a run at it this weekend
