I'm trying to run audio from my PS4 to my PC using a T1 mixer. I connected them successfully, but the resulting sounds lacks any bass. I messed around with the gain, tonematch engine, factory reset but I haven't resolved this baseless sound. Any ideas to resolve this, if possible? (Wire path: PS4 -> Digital to Analog converter via optical cable. DtA converter -> T1 via aux channel 4. T1 -> PC via USB)
P.S - I tested the audio with a guitar amp and it sounds perfect, so I doubt it's any of the wires. For some reason when I connect it to the T1, the sound becomes baseless. Thanks for your help :]

I think I know what is happening, but need some specific information:
- What is the model of Digital to Analog converter you are using? Does it have both RCA connectors and a 1/8" headphone jack on the analog side?
- Please describe the cable you are using from the D/A converter to the T1. What are the connectors on each end? (I.e., RCA, 1/4" TS, 1/4" TRS, 1/8" TS, 1/8" TRS) Is it a straight cable or a Y-cable?
- You say you are connected to "aux channel 4". Are you connected to only one of the channel 4/5 jacks, or both of them?
I'm guessing (pending your answers to the questions above) that your cable from the D/A converter to the T1 is not the correct cable configuration. If you are using a 1/8" TRS to 1/4" TRS cable, like this:
it will not work properly with any channel on the T1, but will usually send a decent signal to a guitar amp. The D/A converter sends a stereo L and R signal. The T1 expects a balanced and - signal, and would process a stereo signal by cancelling the L against the R, resulting in the bass-less, hollow sound you're experiencing. A guitar amp usually doesn't expect a TRS plug, and it processes the Tip (leftt side of the stereo signal) and ignores the Ring (right side of the stereo signal), giving you a fuller sound.
If your D/A converter has a 1/8" headphone jack, you can use a 1/8" TRS to two 1/4" TS Y-cable into both of the channel 4/5 jacks, like this.
Or, if your D/A converter has RCA connectors, you can use twin RCA to 1/4" TS cables, like this:
If you are using one of these types of cable already, we have to look for another reason.
