Universal remote, volume control for TV

Hi,

I’m using a lifestyle 600.
My current setup, there is 1 hdmi and 1 optical cable from my TV to LS600.

I still use my TV audio for news or variety shows.
When I switch on my LS600 i would have to pick up my TV remote to lower the TV’s volume. Kinda defeats the purpose of a universal remote.

And idea if the universal remote has a volume control for the TV?

Thank you for your post. Unfortunately, this wouldn't be possible. Since the Lifestyle 600 was engineered to be used without TV audio (it's recommended to disable TV audio completely), there is not a way to control the TV's volume levels with the Bose remote control. If using the TV's audio is a necessary, you will need to continue to utilize the TV remote control.
