Update 1/31/ - On Wednesday, January 30, 2019, the Bose Smart Home Skill for Alexa will be made available in Mexico, Spain, and Italy. This expansion will also include the support of Spanish and Italian languages in those regions. The skill is currently available in United States, Canada, Germany, Austria, Australia, New Zealand, France, India, and now Mexico, Italy, and Spain.

Update 10/30 - On Tuesday, October 23, 2018, the Bose Smart Home Skill for Alexa was made available in India. The skill is currently available in United States, Canada, Germany, Austria, Australia, New Zealand, France and now India. With this expansion comes support for Saavn--a regional streaming music service for Bose skill users in India only.

Using the Bose smart home skill:
With the Bose Skill, Alexa can play music from your SoundTouch systems. Be sure the music services you wish to use have been added to the Alexa app. For more info, see Using the Bose Skill for Amazon Alexa.
To control music playback:
Ask Alexa to control your SoundTouch system. Be sure to use the name you gave your system in the SoundTouch app. For example, if you named your system “Kitchen”, try these commands:
- Alexa, play some jazz in the kitchen.
- Alexa, turn up the volume in the kitchen.
- Alexa, what’s playing in the kitchen?
