My wife and I work as a duo and also both work solo, sometimes at the same time. Our gigs are at small venues, restaurants, small halls, etc.
We each require a vocal mike and an instrument to plug in so if we buy 2 L1 Compacts then we’ll each have a PA to work solo. Then when we work together we can use both Compacts, one each.
My question is - when working together how will 2 Compact systems compare with both of us going through a bigger system, for example the L1 Model 1S with B1 bass?

Welcome to the forum! The coverage on the L1 compact systems is about 100 people. The L1 MIS is 300 people. If you are comparing one L1 MIS to two L1 compact systems, the L1 MIS will give you more coverage for the larger places but gives you only one system. Two L1 compact system will let you and your wife preform separate gigs.
