Using Bose F1 at home

Hi everyone

I couldn't find the right topic so I created a new one, I hope it's fine.

I'm writing here to ask you, that are surely more expert than me, if the bose F1 could be use to listen to music in my backyard or in my garden when I do some parties or if it is too powerfull. I'm from italy so I hope my english wasn't too bad.

Welcome to the forum, thanks for joining us! The F1 812 Loudspeaker system is designed to be used for live sound or DJ sets in music venues with audiences of several hundred people, so it would likely be overkill for listening at home (unless you have a huge garden!).

If you're looking for a home listening speaker system which also doubles as a portable PA system, I recommend either the S1 Pro or the L1 Compact.

Im about to buy the F1 to use in my backyard, wfich is about 24x40, how big a site should be to guarantee buying the F1 over the S1 pro?

 

Another reason for me to buy is to shutdown some very noisy neighbors that play their music for everyone and dont let me enjoy some time in my yard, thanks

Hey Rvasq72!

As above, the F1 system is designed for music venues with audiences of several hundred people. For listening in your back yard, either the S1 Pro or one of the L1 systems would be more suitable.
