Using external fx unit ( lexicon pcm 81 ) into T4S mixer

Hi .

I can’t for the life of me figure out how to CORRECTLY hook up my Lexicon pcm81 into my T4S mixer , as I wanna use the Lexicon’s unbelievable reverb on my Vocals and Acoustic on my gigs .

I saw some info online , tried a few hook ups but … I couldn’t seem to get a correct balance of Lexicon into the Bose without feedback and/or not enough signal .. either / or on a few setups .. so …

Pretty please help a dude out ..

anyone else gave this a go ? Use an external fx unit into a tonematch ?

all help and info would be most welcoming guys .

kindest regards

Hi davey!

There's a few different ways you can incorporate outboard FX with the ToneMatch mixers. I recommend utilising the AUX outputs on the T4S:

  1. Connect one of the AUX outputs on the T4S to the input of your Lexicon PCM81.
  2. Using the Pan/Aux controls, you can choose to 'send' the channels on the T4S out to the Lexicon for processing. For more info on this step, please see pages 20-21 in the owner's guide.
  3. Connect the output on the Lexicon to one of the inputs on the T4S mixer for an FX return.

Hope this helps!
