Hey guys, I've just bought a new home constructed back in Jan 2020. This home is built using all modern insulation and materials. Now I know that using professional PA systems for karaoke purpose is probably overkill but I won't settle for anything else other than Bose brand. I have a few questions on the setup and hope to find some good advice.
Can the T4S, two S1 Pro and a B1/B2 sub be used in such a setup? I still haven't figured out how to get the karaoke source just yet. I'll greatly appreciate any professional advice. Thanks in advance guys!
I should definitely mention that my living room size is 15x17FT. The 15ft side is the wall behind the TV. My plan is to put the S1 on two corners of the TV and two satellite speakers at the rear end of the 17ft side. The livingroom is openly connected to the kitchen which is 15x20ft.
If you're going to use S1 speakers, buy the new Sub1 that has a specific crossover point to go to the S1's
In my opinion, 1 s1pro would be fine for home karaoke. The 2nd one and subs would be Overkill.
And like Tommy said, the B1/B2 is not what you want. You'd want the Sub1/Sub2 for a sub.
I've done home karaoke with 25 people. 1 worked fantastic.
Karaoke source:. Today, for home karaoke, I'd just use YouTube.
I've been doing karaoke professionally for years, so I've collected thousands of files. But YouTube had 95% of them.
