Is there a reason wireless headphones do not work when plugging in the transmitter to the output jack on the back of the Bose L1 Compact? It works with the T1 but the volume level is a bit low. I have all channel aux maxed at 100%, volume on transmitter at 100%. Sounds nice but in a noisy environment I would probably need more volume. I though the output on the back of the unit would be perfect. Any thoughts?

Rich

The L1 Compact Line Out is a balanced line-level output and the signal is controlled by the channel volumes. To get the maximum signal at the Line Out, the channel volumes have to turned up high.
You may have a setting on the transmitter to set the input sensitivity (e.g., MIC or LINE). If Line is too low, try MIC
If the transmitter input allows for a balanced signal then definitely use a balanced cable.
1/4 inch (6.3 mm) Tip-Ring-Sleeve to 1/4 inch (6.3 mm) Tip-Ring-Sleeve
OR

Thank you for the response. The wireless system I bought has a line/aux switch. The line is 4dbu, the auxliary is -10dbv. The unit plugs directly into the Bose output. I bought this for use at my church so I had an easier time moving around. Right now I am alone and have to control everything while playing. Backing tracks, videos etc. I thought it might come in handy with the bose. I will try cranking up the volume on the unit and cutting back on the T1 volume and see if that works. The unit I purchased is the XVIVE U4.
