Vocal EQ with the T8S new firmware update

Hi, I recently updated my T8S mixer to thew new firmware. Since then, it seems like the "sss" in my vocals seem much brighter, especially with the reverb. I tried adjusting my vocal EQ and para eq, but I can't quite get it sounding right. Do you have any thoughts/suggestions?

Have you tried adjusting the Bright setting.

Turn the Rotary Selector to Reverb

Make sure the Menu setting (left-most knob) is Main

You'll see Mix and Bright

Try turning down Bright

Any better?

I had same issue and rolled off more from high in EQ..

Hi, I removed all the bright EQ, and reduced some of the reverb balance and it seems to be better now, thanks!
