My wedding was last Friday, I used two Model II with one B2 for each, great sound until someone broke a glass of Red Bull in one of my power stand, it started to drop the sound, I realized there was liquid on the B2 connector and I think the protection was cutting the sound.
The next day I cleaned up and fortunately everything works perfectly.
Now I’m planning to use some protection on both my Model II and my Compacts, any advice?
Here is the picture of the set up an the cleaning.

I use footinbutt … good stuff… BUT if you get a spill I say disconnect/remove power ASAP
It hasn’t happened to me yet but I think the only sure fire bet is; Location, Location, Location and “Eyes On” all the time. Yet, after my last wedding, I was going through the normal post gig equipment grooming, and to my horror, I saw a dried ring from the bottom of a glass that someone must have place on my B2. I never saw the glass there during the wedding and the B2 was right next to my DJ table. So close proximity and eyes on isn’t fool proof either. That’s scary.
Maybe a “CAUTION-HIGH ENERGY” sign will work.
