What is the difference between the 1S array module and the II array?

Will the L1 Model II array module work with the L1 Model 1S base and extension tube?  Will there be problems or any issues?  It mounts, plugs in and I have sound, but would rather not have issues.

I had to edit my original reply.  Apparently the pinouts are different between the Model 1S and Model 2 cylindrical radiators.  I knew that the power stands were different between them.  Bose states that cylindrical radiators are not interchangeable between 1S and 2 systems.

 

Are you sure that the section you have is from a Model 2 system and that it works with a 1S lower section and power stand?

This is what I know:

This was a Guitar Center Demo unit, in use for several years before I bought it 'for a song'.  I had them demo it for me before I bought it and it sounded good.  In my living room, with no base module attached, a microphone plugged in sounds good, no problems.

So....it shouldn't work, but it seems to.

 

Not sure if I'm more confused or feel better about it working fine for a while.
