Would this portable generator work with my T8S?

Looking for advice and experience with using a portable power source and my T8S.

I'm considering buying this: Jackery portable power supply

Usually I use my S1 Pro with my guitar and mic - it works well.

I'm now experimenting with a BeatBuddy Mini drum pedal - which needs power.

I also like the sound of my T8S with my S1 Pro.

That's why I'm wondering if I should buy the portable power supply and use it to power the drum pedal (which needs a minimum of 500 mA).

Then I got thinking ... if I'm carrying a power supply around, will it support my T8S?

So I'm turning to the Bose portable PA community to ask - do you think it'll work?

Obviously I don't want to risk my T8S in any way ... but the sound coming out of the T8S is so  much nicer ... so I'm tempted.

What do you think?

Thanks in advance.

Hello oldmachead,

I have no direct experience with this product, but there have been several discussions regarding the Jackery power stations during the last couple of years.

One forum member has used the same model you are inquiring about with an L1 Compact and third-party mixer.  Check the reply in this post from March of 2020: Recommend a power supply that they have used successfully with the L1 Compact?

Does that help?

Thank you,   ... that is very helpful.

I recall seeing the earlier traffic on this one (and that it related to the L1 systems) - and that traffic was at the old forum site.

I'm having a lot of difficulty with the forum site after the switch to this location. I really miss the old site ... this new one is nowhere as good as the old one. (End of rant!) 🙂

Thanks for pointing me to that message ... I'm not sure how much power the T8S requires, but if that power supply is good enough for an L1 Compact, my guess is that it'll support the T8S. (Else, I'm out over $1,000!)

Cheers,
