Hey there, i work at a retail store and our music plays through CD’s using the Bose PM8500 system. We want to connect via USB but a password is required and it is lost. Any way we could reset it back to factory default so that we could connect without password?

I have a customer that cannot access zone control on the Bose panel due to it saying its locked. They never set the lock and don't know the password. Can you help me with getting it back to unlocked status?

Hi and welcome,

Bose’s Controlspace Designer software can unlock and manage these units. It connects via USB.
